We often conceptualize the spiritual body as having seven different chakras of energy and color. Each of those chakras are composed of different energy frequencies and through this process of visualization, we see them as having different colors.

When we use colors and light energy frequencies to interact with our spiritual body, the changes and the affects of these color interactions can be powerful. This is because those energy points in the human body and their association with light and color can serve as an energy transformation and transmission process. The colors can be used to interact and transform the chakras through these energies of light.

Each chakra point of the spiritual body is influenced and can even be nourished by different colors. Here is an overview of the chakra points and the color they are most prone to be affected by:

Colors have this affect on the spiritual body:

• Colors have subtle energy in that they communicate with our inner spirit or soul 
• Colors work similar to radio waves – only color waves – waves of energy 
• Some people are more sensitive to one color than others 
• Some can physically feel the effect of a color on them
• A favorite color sometimes means you are most sensitive to the energy of that color

You may ask how this color interaction works.  If the physical eyes see the color, how is this transmitted to the chakra points?  It is true that the physical eyes do experience the colors but by their nature, the chakra points can differentiate the incoming stimulus and are fed by it.
