Energy centers are locations on the earth where the earth’s life force energy is concentrated or focused. 

Heart locations are the points where this focused life force energy is the greatest. 

Energy centers located within the desert draws upon the raw energy that mother earth has. 

These energies are concentrated in areas of brilliant and marked coloration.  The reason for this that those areas with color have long histories buried deep within the rocks of past lives lived by many animals and plants.  This presence and historical accumulation of energy produce these strong feelings. There is much history in these particular locations.  History of lives long lived of pasts stretching back toward beginnings of great events which happened long ago.  In other words, by their nature, they point towards the past.  It is this nature of desert areas that one discover their pasts, such as the Tao and its beginnings. I refer to of course the astral levels.  Throughout historical records there are examples of pilgrimages by those who wish enlightenment go into desert regions.

Now, within this desert area where mother earth raw forces are so pronounced, heart locations are generally located where water is present in whatever quantities or has been present in times past.  This combination of two life forces gives a heart point life.  Also, where the earth seems to open and allow vast expanses of air to be seen, also are combinations of two life forces giving life to heart centers.

As an example of this is locations of vistas and views of course, a person is noticing the view and the scenery, but in reality is experiencing the joining of two great forces at a linear location. But deep within the red rock deserts of southern utah, where the carved deep canyons and glens, where one is surrounded by earth’s force, but also accompanied with life giving water, these are locations of strong heart centers. They vary in size and shape.  But the more powerful ones are generally the smaller or pointed locations, or extremely focused.

Color and Light

Light, of course, is part of the giving of life and therefore those areas which have brightly lit areas have a feeling of strength and positiveness simply because of this life force.  Those areas where color is introduced into the light, as in the red rock areas, the light takes upon a brighter or stronger sensation that can feed the chakra points directly.  Those colors relating closer to the earth, the reds and oranges and shades of such, activate the chakra pints that deal with earth forces and produce stronger feelings as well.
