Being Aware of Your Feelings

The foundation to tune in and receive spiritual energy relies on ones ability to tune into feelings. Becoming aware of ones feelings allows you the ability to tune into the different types of spiritual energies and recognize the differences these energies transmit.

Feelings are your first connection to being aware of the different types of spiritual energy.

The process of first recognizing a feeling is done by asking the question:

How does it feel?

You can ask yourself this question and then start to identify the feelings you have. In answering the question of how it feels, you may have several responses, and you may settle on one or two of the responses which seems right.

You next absorb and interpret that feeling and allow it become a part of your memory.  You do this by dwelling and pondering on the question, then the interpretation, and allow the feeling to become part of your memory.

Eventually you will develop the trust and confidence to interpret many messages from your spiritual self that before would go unnoticed.

This process of communication training is open and available to all.  It is a method most spiritual teachers and guides will use to help you learn to begin to trust yourself and then to trust your own decisions.

As you become more engaged and aware of your feelings, you will start to learn to differentiate the source of where your feelings are triggered and even the type of energy being transmitted.

By understanding the source, you can differentiate the messages and energies that are spiritual messages and those that are being used to prompt you to a certain action.

Interpreting Your Feelings
  1. You learn as you are motivated and can accept difficult concepts by sensing their truth through feelings.
  2. Rely on intuitive feelings.  You may at first seek confirmation, such as by travel, but as your knowledge increases, then your confidence in your feelings will also increase and you may answer directly.
  3. Follow your feelings.  If it feels good or seems right, then it is OK.  If it makes you uncomfortable, then change.  There is neither right nor wrong in meditation methods; only what benefits you.
  4. As you learn, feelings of joy will be stronger and impressions will be clearer.
  5. You should trust your own feelings on all matters and proceed as you feel is right.
  6. Your ability to recognize your feelings will increase.
  7. Recognition of feelings and acting on your feelings

Persistent Desires

A persistent desire is usually a clear sign that something beyond yourself keeps prodding you to take a certain direction or take a certain action. It can be from your spiritual self, your Higher Self, or even your personal spiritual guide communicating to you with the desire you will recognize this more persistent feeling, and act on it.

When this happens, it is as if this activity, or task, or concept is something you created as something you planned to experience in this life time.

The desires one finds they have in this life can be used to lead a soul to its intended purpose in a given life.  The question then is how does one decide which desire is proper to follow?

Evaluate what desires you consistently pursue and eventually return to over and over and over again, even after becoming discouraged.  Your Higher Self sees a long-term need for this purpose and therefore continues to direct your attentions in these avenues.  So one of the tools is doing some introspection and looking at what you desire”.
