Each of the different chakras of the spiritual body have a different energy frequency. Sound is composed of waves of energy, each note having a different sound wave pattern and frequency. The energy freqencies associated with the chakras will thereby be more sensitive to different types of sound waves.

Sound is an important aspect on creating or affecting the energy of the spiritual body.

The harmony of sounds is desirable to produce a harmony of the chakra points.  That is why you may like good music or that you have a feeling for good music.

Certain notes have a greater affinity to certain chakra's. In other words, different notes can impact different chakra points.

For example,

• the first chakra, located at the base of the spine, is most sensitive to the note "C"
• the second chakra is most sensitive to the note "D"
• the third chakra is most sensitive to the note "E"
• the fourth chakra is most sensitive to the note "F"
• the fifth chakra is most sensitive to the note "G"
• the sixth chakra is most sensitive to the note "A"
• The seventh chakra is most sensitive to the note "B"

You may want to experiment with sound and evaluate its affect on your chakra's. You could try selecting either a chime or a singing bowl to be used in a sound meditation, for example. Or you can select a piece of music that resonates with you while you relax, listen, and feel the music connect with you and through you as you allow your mind to wander and expand in this type of meditation.
