Your Higher Self, you’re subconscious, you’re conscious, and you’re Spiritual Guide are all working towards a common goal. Therefore, the important thing is to focus on the goals and not the origination of the thought.
Thoughts from a Spiritual Guide
If the thought seems to be startling in nature, or something you have not conceived of before, then you might imagine that it is from your Spiritual Guides.
Thoughts from Your Higher Self
If the thought is something you have felt before but not verbalized or visualized, then you might assume it’s from your Higher Self.
Connection of Thoughts
If the thought is something you have been rolling in your mind, analyzing, and trying to understand, then you may assume it is from yourself.
The idea is that the more unlike your present mind set, the thought is more distant from where the thought originated. Completely different and unsuspecting ideas come from minds that have few connections with your life’s experiences. The Higher Self, of course, being a close part of you, can therefore produce ideas that are familiar but not verbalized. The idea is that they are clear and that they make sense and once thought of they seem to fit very easily into your scheme of things. However, a thought from a different mind, such as a Spiritual Guide, will seem perhaps strange and unusual; a different way to approach a common problem that you have not conceived of, but once understood seems to make sense.
Relaxation Helps You Receive Thoughts & Messages
If you relax, the relaxing of your mind will allow impulses from the outside to be received. Therefore, when you have difficult questions, the best results are to ponder and perhaps perform a shallow meditation. The trick is to empty the mind. Perhaps a more successful approach would be to set aside the problem until an insight is obtained.
The information you seek may come from yourself or from outside. It matters not.
