Being able  to discern truthful statements from false statements is a spiritual gift. This gift, known as truth sensing, allows you to tell when others are trying to deceive or lie. You can sense who is honorable and those who are not. In fact, it sometimes makes you wonder how others can not or do not see or sense what you are seeing.
This gift allows you to determine when those around you are trying to deceive so you can react accordingly. 
To use truth sensing you must have true motives. If your motives become even the slightest bit tainted, then you will start to perceive slightly tainted truth, which further taints your motives, which taints your perceptions, which taints your motives, which taints your perceptions, and on and on. It becomes a trap from which it never ends.  This is why you MUST be honest and have true motives in developing and using truth sensing.  
All people have the innate ability to sense truth, but being able to develop the gift of sensing truth is like having a second dose of this ability. 

When you are reading information from spiritual leaders, please make sure you recognize the words may only be fitting a moment in time and from an individual’s perspective at that particular moment.  This is why many spiritual leaders did not record; they knew people would hang on to their words and not search for the meanings.  Meanings will change in different times, places, and with different perspectives.  
Each person should look for truth and its meaning within, not from without.  If you continue to search books for answers, or question others as to what to believe or know, you will never learn to find the answers from within. The answers are there. They are always there.
Other people can give you support or say, “This is what I did but it may or may not work for you.  Your path is different from mine.”
So, look within.  Trust what you find. 
If you do not learn this, people will continue to be led by others in directions that are not theirs.  They will end up always being  controlled. 
If people believe in themselves, they will be equal because they know they are.  They will know themselves, trust themselves, and believe in their choices.  

The ability to know and recognize truth is the spiritual gift associated with the 2nd chakra. Truth is considered a sensing gift and as such is related to the lower chakra points. In order to develop the ability to sense truth, the lower chakra points, especially the 2nd chakra, need to be activated and exercises in all its forms.  
These are the main tools that impact, create, as well as expand the energy associated with the second chakra:

• FOOD - The food associated with the second chakra is sugars, fats, and even chocolate.
• SEX - The sexual position associated with the second chakra is digital stimulation.
• MUSIC - The music associated with the second chakra is the note D, and/or music that is centered around that key or creates a feeling that resonates to the second chakra.
• COLOR - The color associated with the second chakra is orange.
• RITUAL - The ritual associated with the second chakra is fire.
• MEDITATION - The meditation associated with the second chakra is a sexual meditation.
  
• CONTACT AND INTEGRATION - The integration aspect for the second chakra is movement in, on, or with water.

If you want to impact and improve the energy of the second chakra and develop the ability to sense truth, you activate and exercise all those points and forms. Meditate on the colors of light, sound, food, and sex.  Try using a direct color of light, such as orange, in a meditation, and see if this will help you with your ability to sense and know truth. 
In addition, you also have the option of combining any of the tools together in a spiritual exercise. This may even create a deeper spiritual experience. 

The spiritual gift of the second chakra is the ability to sense truth. It is the ability to find truth and help those who seek truth. Truth sensing is how one establishes universal or unchanging truth or facts. You can sense who is honorable and those who are not. You can be a truth-sayer for your own personal necessities and determine when those around you are trying to deceive you and therefore react accordingly. 
With this spiritual gift, you KNOW when you hear, see, or understand a truth; there is no doubt. Knowing is beyond testimony.  It is an insight into truth and knowledge.
