As people are born, the chromosomes of the male and the chromosomes of the female join creating a separate and distinct individual. This individual has certain predisposed abilities and features. The fragment (an individual soul) who desires to enter the physical body may choose a body that has predisposed physical traits and certain social or societal features that will help that fragment to obtain the life experience it desires. But physical abilities, for a large part, are determined by the gene pool of its parents and social and economic ability are determined by the society. Therefore, if a person has a talent of physical ability to perform, or learn, or do something on the physical level, this comes from the physical body. The obvious example of this is physical strength, but other talents are also developed through this manner, too.
For example, Mozart, as a fragment, desired to experience musical ability for whatever reason, and therefore as a fragment chose a life or physical body that would help him obtain this ability.
But how would a fragment who desires to obtain insight, or to be able to communicate with other fragments, or to develop spiritual gifts be programmed into the personality that inhabits the physical body? These traits and gifts are not physical, so how can these nonphysical traits and experiences be obtained?
Nonphysical abilities and experiences are directed and guided through a person's feelings. It is the process where the fragment's Higher Self will instill a desire within. This desire is something that can not be brushed aside. It isn't a whim, it is almost like an ache that won't go away until you get on this path and complete the task you had planned to have in this life. The ache will even grow if you continue to ignore or suppress it.
It is through these feelings that will help guide, then pull, and then drive a person towards their nonphysical life purpose desires.
Being Sensitive to Your Feelings
Being sensitive to your feelings and then acting on those feelings will help lead you toward your intended life purpose. For whatever reason, it is those experiences your pre-physical spiritual self desired to have in this lifetime that are part of your life purpose charter. You will be pulled in that direction until you have fulfilled or completed that task, or become fully satisfied with the experience. You will then probably start to feel a new gentle pull towards another new life purpose experience. And so the cycle continues.
